Today marks the centenary of Julie Campbell Tatham, creator of girl sleuths Trixie Belden and Ginny Gordon, and writer of several of the Cherry Ames and Vicki Barr mysteries. She died in 1999.Trixie debuted in 1948 in Trixie Belden and the Secret of the Mansion, and Ginny in the same year in Ginny Gordon and the Mystery of the Disappearing Candlesticks.
