Philadelphia's Eastern State Penitentiary.

The Curious Expeditions blog has an interesting write-up (with photos) on Pennsylvania's grim Eastern State Penitentiary, which was in use from 1829 to 1971 and housed, among others, bank robber Willie Sutton and Al Capone. It is now open to the public.
