In the
Baker Street Almanac, George Mason University law professor and
Green Bag editor Ross E. Davies discusses "
How Watson Learned the Trick" (1922), a short, humorous dialogue between Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson in which the good doctor proudly shows off what he has learned of Holmes' methods. It was written by
Arthur Conan Doyle as part of a project for Queen Mary. This publication also reproduces the text of the dialogue.
