Charlaine Harris, author of the Sookie Stackhouse novels with paranormal elements and the series featuring psychic Harper Connelly, turns 56 today. The Sookie TV series, called True Blood and starring Anna Paquin, has gone into production for HBO. Harris will be Malice Domestic's guest of honor in April.The latest Harper Connelly novel is An Ice Cold Grave; the latest Sookie novel is All Together Dead. Sookie also appears in a new short story in Many Bloody Returns.
