H. R. F. Keating: Forgotten? Pshaw.
I find it hard to believe that the Independentcalls the 82-year-old distinguished author-critic H. R. F. Keating "forgotten," especially when a new Inspector Ghote novel is due out on our shores this summer.
With Harry's extensive bibliography, perhaps the _Independent_ could be forgiven for thinking he had written a Christie bio. :-) Can you believe that his first book, _Death and the Visiting Firemen_, was published in 1959? That means 50 years of publishing as of this year--a darn fine record.

I agree! And I don't think Harry wrote a biography of Christie, either, though he did edit a very good book of essays about her.
