Warner Instant Archive has launched with the tagline "Watch Film Noir Online." There is a two-week free trial and a $9.99 monthly fee after that. The offerings include the 1960s TV series Hawaiian Eye, Jericho, and Man from U.N.C.L.E. as well as the films Clash by Night, Cleopatra Jones, and Gun Crazy. (Hat tip to Television Obscurities)

WA is also offering their DVD-Rs for the almost (almost) reasonable rate of buy one, get another Half-Off.
Given the friability of DVD-Rs, this is still more than they should cost, but there we have it...if you have the system to download to, you probably have the system to upload to...
